23 trophies to wines from Tenerife, Lanzarote and 11 for five to Palma

D.O.Valle de Guimar reached six awards: 4 silver and 2 bronze.D.O.Valle de La Orotava won four trophies: 3 silver and 1 bronze.D.O.Tacoronte Acentejo achieved three awards: 2 silver and 1 bronze.And D.O.Isora Daute Ycoden obtained a bronze award.
D.O.La Palma won 5 awards: three gold and two bronze.Moreover, this appellation of origin had the best wine of the competition as the tasters, "Carballo Malvasia Dulce 2008."
Tasters evaluate the wine makers have been experts in national wine critics, professional tasters of all the islands, as well as sommeliers in major hotels of the Canaries, this is the case of Abama Hotel, Hotel Botanico and Hecansa, among others.
On Saturday 29 May from 12 noon, will be the ceremony to the winners of the awards with which they have been recognized.The event will take place at a ceremony in the former Corn Exchange and House are expected at the highest authorities of regional, island, local and industry.
